Jamie Lee Curtis’ Father Tony Dead at 85

Tony Curtis suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Henderson, Nevada yesterdasy (Wednesday). He was one of my favorite actors in my childhood years of the 50s and 60s and I can’t tell you why. Probably because my parents liked him. He was a solid actor earning an Academy Award nomination for “The Defiant Ones”. He had looks to burn — I’ll get him for that. And of course, was married to the “Psycho-shower-scene” bombshell Janet Leigh. The result of that marriage was one of the most sultry sexy seductive drop-down gorgeous beings ever to come out of Hollywood – Jamie Lee Curtis.

Most will remember him with Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe in “Some Like It Hot”. Funny funny show even today. I liked him in “Houdini” as well.

We’ve lost another precious one of the ever dwindling number of “Hollywood Stars”. Hollywood Stars back when ‘star meant something’…
